Queenzy Cheng 莊群施 Rights Policy

This policy governs all uses of the likeness, voice and artistic works of the late Queenzy 莊群施 (“Queenzy”), including materials created during her lifetime and all projects released by Qhinetic PLT (formerly Qhinetic Ventures).

Queenzy is represented and managed exclusively by Qhinetic PLT, the designated rights holder for her image, name, voice and intellectual property. This policy is intended to preserve her legacy with dignity, authenticity, and cultural respect.

Intellectual Property & Publicity Rights

The unauthorised use of Queenzy’s identity — including her name, stage name, personal likeness, voice, signature, photographs, video recordings, digital replicas, AI-generated images or audio and other recognisable features is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Qhinetic PLT.

Qhinetic PLT retains full and exclusive rights to approve, license or deny any use of her identity and legacy across all media and platforms.

Permitted Use (With Prior Written Approval)

The following uses MAY be permitted, subject to formal application and licensing:

      1. Educational & Academic Use
        • Use in lectures, scholarly papers, university archives or exhibitions on cultural history
        • Referencing her work in thesis or cultural studies (with proper citation)

      2. Public Memorials & Cultural Tributes
        • Candlelight vigils, tribute concerts, prayer ceremonies or cultural exhibitions with non-commercial intent
        • Memorial content published by temples, schools or non-profits

      3. Licensed Media & Creative Projects
        • Official documentaries, films or retrospectives authorised by Qhinetic
        • Remastered or AI-supported posthumous music releases developed with Qhinetic
        • Merchandise or collectibles licensed under her brand or catalogue

      4. AI & Digital Memorialisation
        • AI-generated voice or image tributes produced ethically, with transparency and reviewed by Qhinetic
        • Virtual performances or exhibitions using her likeness in respectful and factual ways

      5. Journalistic or Factual Reporting
        • Publication of accurate obituaries or tribute articles using authorised images
        • Use of official media materials for factual news stories (non-commercial use only)
Prohibited Use (Strictly Forbidden)

The following are NOT permitted under any circumstances and may result in legal action:

      1. ANY USAGE WITHOUT A WRITTEN CONSENT OR LICENSING AGREEMENT

      2. Commercial Exploitation Without Licence
        • Selling unauthorised merchandise, NFTs, or using her likeness for product promotion
        • Using her name or image to endorse events or products without prior consent

      3. AI-Generated Misuse
        • Voice or facial cloning for satire, impersonation or misleading content
        • Creating synthetic “interviews” or “new performances” that misrepresent Queenzy

      4. Inappropriate or Offensive Contexts
        • Use in obscene, sexualised, violent or defamatory material
        • Associating her image with political propaganda or ideologically polarising messages

      5. False Endorsement or Misleading Attribution
        • Presenting unapproved content as “official” or suggesting her endorsement
        • Misusing her legacy to promote causes or campaigns she was not part of

      6. Distortion of Legacy
        • Editing her image, voice or footage to alter the context of her beliefs, identity or work
        • Fictional portrayals that disrespect her values, dignity, or cultural background
How to Seek Permission

All requests must be submitted via the Licensing Request Form.

All approved usage will be governed under a written licensing agreement outlining the scope of rights granted, permitted media or platforms, duration and termination clauses and attribution requirements.

Unauthorised use constitutes a breach of intellectual property law and may be subject to legal enforcement.

Respect & Responsibility

Upon signing the licensing agreement, we welcome creative tributes that align with Queenzy’s values and artistic legacy. All parties are expected to act with cultural sensitivity and to credit the artist appropriately.

To maintain accurate information, verification from Queenzy’s official accounts is encouraged. Any information circulating outside Queenzy or Qhinetic accounts should be treated as a rumour until officially confirmed.
